Create your own terrarium
A terrarium is like a small interior garden in a glass container. Put it wherever you want, preferably near a window or in a bright room. If you choose different kinds of plants, make sure they have similar characteristics so that
they grow well together. Recommended plants for a terrarium are ferns, moss, succulents and cacti.
To create your own terrarium, here’s what you need:
- a smaller plant that won’t get too big, that won’t need lots of light and that doesn’t have to be planted outside
- pebbles or gravel
- soil
- activated charcoal
- gloves for the cacti

Commencez par positionner les galets ou le gravier au fond du terrarium. Versez ensuite un peu de terreau mélangé au
charbon actif puis disposez vos plantes. Recouvrez bien les racines en ajoutant un peu de terreau supplémentaire si besoin.
Bon à savoir : les terrariums conservent particulièrement bien l’humidité, il est donc recommandé de ne pas arroser trop souvent ses plantes. Il faut par exemple compter 1 à 2 arrosages par mois pour les plantes grasses et les cactus.
